The Cycle of Creation – Photography Beyond Images

I Tell the Story of This Photo…

When I took this photo, I didn’t just want to capture a beautiful moment—I wanted to tell a story. I’ve always believed that photography is more than light and composition; it carries philosophy and profound reflections on life.

The basket boat in this image represents the cycle of creation—the eternal circle of birth and dissolution. The woman curled up inside resembles a fetus in the womb, evoking the beginning of life. Yet at this moment, she is alone. Beneath her, I placed a raincoat, spread out like invisible arms—symbolizing the warmth she longs for. No matter how strong we are, there are times when we crave protection.

The distant boats seem to drift toward the horizon—I wanted them to symbolize wishes and dreams that we all carry in life. I used a fisheye lens to bend the horizon, preserving the circular motif—the circle of the universe, of fate.
And I Want to Share This with You…

This photo has won multiple international awards since 2014. Still, more importantly, it has helped me realize the true essence of photography: it is a way to convey thoughts, emotions, and the unseen philosophies we sometimes struggle to express in words.

I want to share this with you, those passionate about photography. When you take a photo, try to infuse it with a deeper meaning. Let every image be visually stunning and hold a story, a philosophy of life. Ask yourself, “What do I want this photo to say?”

When photography is combined with philosophical thinking, every image becomes a message, a mirror reflecting the photographer’s soul.
