THE ART OF MAKING TAPIOCA FLOUR CAKES IN TÂY NINH – A HIDDEN GEM FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS

Tây Ninh is renowned not only for its spiritual landmarks such as Bà Đen Mountain and the Cao Đài Holy See but also for its traditional craft villages. Among them, the art of making tapioca flour cakes stands out as a unique cultural practice that attracts photographers seeking to capture the beauty of authentic craftsmanship.

In the tapioca flour cake-making villages of Tây Ninh, skilled artisans carefully process the ingredients, cook the flour, and sun-dry the cakes—all done by hand using traditional methods. The most magical moments for photography occur in the early morning when sunlight filters through rising steam from the cooking pots, casting an ethereal glow over the workshop.

Visiting these villages is more than just a photography experience; it provides a deeper appreciation of Vietnam's cultural heritage and the quiet beauty of traditional craftsmanship.
